Healthcare Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at Central Ohio Primary Care. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing administrative and clinical support to ensure the efficient delivery of primary healthcare services.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care and support by assisting with vital signs, medical procedures, and administrative tasks.
- Work closely with the clinical care team to deliver high-quality patient care and promote positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including lab results and test orders.
- Administer vaccinations, medications, and perform routine specimen collection and point-of-care tests as directed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; graduate of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
- MA certification preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) software and ability to learn new systems quickly.
