About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our team at RSM US LLP. As a Tax Manager, you will play a key role in providing exceptional tax advisory services to our clients, ensuring their compliance with US and foreign tax laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on international tax matters, including planning, research, compliance, and general mergers and acquisitions activities.
  • Review and analyze complex tax data, including US international information reporting forms and quantitative analysis.
  • Collaborate with RSM member firms around the world to deliver seamless tax services to our clients.
  • Assist with new business development, extended service, and tax issue recognition for existing clients.
  • Manage corporate international client needs with respect to tax services and federal and state tax compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required, CPA or JD preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Public Accounting with a focus in International Tax.
  • Comprehensive understanding of tax law/rules and implications.
  • Working knowledge of inbound and outbound structure planning, foreign tax credits, worldwide tax minimization planning, foreign investment in real property tax act (FIRPTA), income tax treaties, U.S. withholding tax, transfer pricing analysis, and ASC 740.
  • Experience with International Tax compliance, including forms W-8 (Series), 5471, 5472, 8288, 8621, 8865, 8858, and 1118.
  • Strong technical skills in accounting, tax preparation, and review within the international taxation environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with a national or large regional accounting firm.

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
