About the Role:
KPMG is seeking a highly skilled Manager to join our Shared Services practice. As a key member of our team, you will provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and partnerships, working with a variety of clients from Fortune 100 companies to emerging businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality tax service and advice, tax compliance process and technology design, and industry knowledge to clients.
- Guide, counsel, and train teams of tax professionals and assistants working on client projects.
- Oversee a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope, acting as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
- Manage risk and performance of engagements, including project budgets, resource planning, status, and financial metrics.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax practices, new technologies, and tools used in client service delivery, and participate in technology or process development initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum five years of recent tax compliance experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
- Licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM, with experience with the taxation of partnerships, corporations, consolidations, and knowledge of ASC 740.
- Demonstrated quality service mindset, strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills, and experience with MS Office applications and third-party tax reporting software programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to articulate complex information.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
