About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with customers to ensure they receive the help they need on their journeys.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with U-Haul products and services, providing exceptional support and guidance.
  • Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
  • Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services, promoting a culture of knowledge and expertise.
  • Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Install hitches and trailer wiring, demonstrating technical expertise and attention to detail.
  • Fulfill propane and drive a forklift, showcasing versatility and adaptability.
  • Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University, staying up-to-date with the latest knowledge and best practices.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment:

This role requires:

  • Modest risks or discomforts that require special safety precautions.
  • The ability to use protective clothing or gear, such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.
