Job Description

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, current state certification as a nurse assistant, and at least two years of experience as a CNA within the last two years. If it has been more than two years since your last CNA experience, you must complete another training and competency program before providing services.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care services to patients
  • Applying safety principles and proper body mechanics to perform specific techniques of personal and supportive care
  • Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with feeding
  • Performing homemaking and other environmental services
  • Observing, reporting, and documenting any changes in patient status
  • Assisting patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by a nurse or therapist
