Magnolia Hospice is dedicated to delivering exceptional pain management and medical care to patients facing terminal illness. With a compassionate team of care professionals and volunteers, we provide support to families and communities when they need it most.

This role is located in the Austin area and requires a Weekend OnCall schedule.

  • Providing hands-on care and assessing patient needs
  • Handling admissions after hours and discharges, including death pronouncements
  • Communicating effectively with the interdisciplinary team
  • Documenting necessary information in the electronic healthcare record
  • Collaborating with hospice physicians and coordinating ancillary services
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare providers
  • Oversight and direction of unlicensed assistive personnel
  • Education and support for family members, caregivers, and facility staff

Requirements:

  • Dependable transportation without restriction

Additional requirements include:

  • Unencumbered licensure in Texas or a compact state
  • Current CPR certification as a healthcare provider
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with reasonable accommodation
  • Passing a criminal history check and background checks
  • Compliance with drug and alcohol screening
  • At least one year of registered nursing experience, preferably two years in hospice care
  • Bilingualism in English and Spanish or additional languages is beneficial
  • Experience with Homecare Homebase is advantageous

Benefits:

  • Negotiable salary: $**60,000 - $80,000 per year
  • Mileage reimbursement
