Your responsibilities will include supporting the management of the food service operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals promptly and efficiently. You will guide team members in adhering to food safety protocols and presentation standards, guaranteeing that our customers receive top-notch food items in a timely and pleasant manner. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the Store Manager and collaborating with other team members to provide an outstanding customer experience while fostering a workplace that embodies the values of the Company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Welcome all customers warmly to create a friendly atmosphere.
2. Oversee inventory levels, manage food costs, and ensure compliance with preparation, presentation, and safety standards for both hot and cold food and beverage items.
3. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the food service area, maintaining equipment according to established food safety standards.
4. Achieve Company targets for food sales, including items such as pizza, breakfast sandwiches, and beverages.
5. Provide training, constructive feedback, and guidance to team members regarding food preparation and safety practices.
6. Maintain relationships with third-party vendors to ensure adherence to food safety measures, including monitoring temperatures, holding times, and waste management processes.
7. Manage proper inventory levels and rotation of food products in various display cases.
8. Efficiently process customer transactions to minimize wait times.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Guest Service Leader.
10. Must be capable of fulfilling the essential functions of this role with or without reasonable accommodations.
Working Relationships:
Collaborate with store team members, Store Manager, District Manager, Company personnel, and various vendors.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED
Minimum Experience: 6 months of experience in retail or food service
Preferred Experience: 1 year in a retail, service, or restaurant environment
Licenses/Certifications: Serv Safe Certification is advantageous but not required
Soft Skills:
· Comfortable engaging with customers and team members
· High energy and enthusiasm
· Ability to transition quickly between tasks
· Team-oriented with a willingness to assist others
Additional Information:
Scheduling: This position offers both part-time (up to 29 hours) and full-time hours, requiring flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as store hours may vary.
Travel: 0%
Hours & Conditions: Full-time position with a maximum of 40 regular hours.
Other:
Specialized work attire will be provided, including hats or visors and gloves.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Ability to stand or walk for 8 hours a day, reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, grasp, and work in cooler temperatures. The work environment noise level is typically moderate.
