Job Summary

Big Sandy Health Care, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our team. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical services to patients, including examination, diagnosis, planning, treatment, and evaluation of progress.
  • Deliver extended care services to patients, including health education and counseling.
  • Accurately document patient health information in the electronic medical record system.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding their condition and treatment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Adhere to the corporation's corporate compliance program and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Requirements
  • Licensure to practice medicine in the state of Kentucky.
  • BLS & ACLS certification, PALS certification depending on privileges.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform duties of this position.
  • Commitment to providing consistent, nonjudgmental, quality healthcare to underserved communities.
