Job Title: Electrical Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the workflow and scheduling of estimating activities to meet company objectives, working closely with operational teams and clients to outline project scopes and review bid documents, and developing estimates for initial designs.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee the workflow and scheduling of estimating activities to meet company objectives
  • Work closely with operational teams and clients to outline project scopes and review bid documents
  • Request bids from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring all necessary documentation is distributed
  • Develop estimates for initial designs, ensuring accurate pricing through comprehensive research
  • Negotiate pricing, resolve any discrepancies, and foster strong relationships with clients
  • Compile and present completed estimating packages to management for approval
  • Track bid projects and provide accurate forecasts for future project awards and their likelihood
Qualifications:
  • Preferred 5+ years experience in electrical estimating on Multi-Family and Commercial projects
  • Experience working on electrical budgets in the $1 - $5 Million range
  • Proficient in estimating software Accubid
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities
