About the Role

We are in search of a proficient Estimator with a solid foundation in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing disciplines to become part of a vibrant team. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience along with a relevant degree. If you have a passion for estimating and thrive in a dynamic setting, this opportunity is well-suited for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee estimating processes and timelines to align with organizational goals.
  • Engage with operational teams and clients to clarify project scopes.
  • Enhance conceptual engineering capabilities for system selection and layout.
  • Solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers, and evaluate bid documents.
  • Conduct preliminary design estimates, perform comprehensive research, and ensure pricing precision.
  • Negotiate costs, address discrepancies, and cultivate strong client relationships.
  • Offer leadership, support, and training to team members in estimating.
  • Deliver finalized estimating packages to senior leadership and management.
  • Accurately predict project awards and probabilities.
  • Collaborate with operations for effective project execution.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in estimating for electrical, mechanical, or plumbing projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software such as Accubid, Bluebeam, and/or AutoBid.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with high-volume demands.
  • Strong communication skills and exceptional organizational capabilities.
