Job Opportunity

Erwin Electric, a reputable electrical contracting corporation, is seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join their team in the Tampa Bay Area.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical estimating, with experience in preparing and analyzing estimates using Trimble Accubid Anywhere. Proficiency in MS Office and relevant computer skills is also essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing specifications and drawings, attending pre-bid walk-throughs, and preparing estimates for projects ranging from $100K to $10 Million. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze project specifications and drawings.
  • Prepare and submit estimates for projects using Trimble Accubid Anywhere.
  • Identify qualified suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Review and finalize estimates with the Chief Estimator.
  • Communicate with general contractors and project management teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical training.
  • 5+ years of electrical estimating experience with Accubid Anywhere or similar software.
  • Experience with Accubid Live Count and Bluebeam is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and relevant computer skills.

Compensation:

  • $85k - $110k with bonus opportunities based on a percentage of profitability.
