    • Obtain and review offers and quotes from subcontractors or vendors
    • Perform risk analysis and identify potential areas of concern
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Create and submit estimate reports or bids to project managers, clients, or bidding competitions
    • Build relationships with key vendors, including subcontractors, suppliers, and engineers
    • Provide consultation on planning, including schedules and manpower needs
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Proven experience as a commercial electrical estimator, preferably in multi-family or commercial construction
  • Skills
    • Familiarity with financial and project management principles
    • In-depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas
    • Excellent math and IT ability with an analytical mindset
    • Proficient in relevant software, preferably including Accubid
    • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
    • Thoroughness and reliability
    • Excellent organizational skills
  • Certifications
    • Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) is an asset
