Essential Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for members with acute or chronic mental health needs.
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy, as well as crisis intervention services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective treatment outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning, utilizing evidence-based practices and research methods.
  • Develop and lead psychoeducational classes and groups to promote mental health awareness and education.
  • Participate in departmental program development, implementation, and evaluation to ensure high-quality care and services.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) with Couples and Families Endorsement within 24 months of hire.
Additional Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and professional board standards related to member treatment, patient rights, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment and participate in departmental on-call rotations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous post-license experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team in an outpatient or inpatient setting/program under licensed supervision.
  • Previous clinical responsibility, including crisis intervention, individual, and group psychotherapy.
