Job Title: Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. Job Summary:

We are looking for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide high-quality care to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology, and be licensed as LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC. You will have 2 years or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences, and be well-grounded in and knowledgeable in a variety of empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with physicians to report patient progress, needs, concerns, and potential and actual problems.
  • Consult and coordinate with family and/or support system regarding client treatment and discharge planning.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records including clinical and progress notes according to department policy.
  • Work closely with members of the health care team in the development of the plan of treatment, including discharge plans, based on the psychosocial assessment, and accepted social work interventions.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
  • Active California state licensure as LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
  • 2 years or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
  • Well-grounded in and knowledgeable in a variety of empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client care and using client feedback to improve care.
