Licensed Mental Health Therapist Opportunity

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality care to our members. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in our multidisciplinary clinic, working closely with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
About the Role:
As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a broad range of mental health needs. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, providing psychotherapy, and collaborating with our healthcare team to ensure seamless care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
- Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions to patients with a range of mental health needs.
- Collaborate with our healthcare team to ensure timely and effective treatment, including crisis intervention and medication management.
- Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses to inform treatment planning and ensure accurate documentation.
- Participate in departmental program development, implementation, and evaluation to improve patient care and outcomes.
- May be required to participate in the department on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) with Couples and Families Endorsement (California) within 24 months of hire.
- National Provider Identifier required at hire.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrated expertise in treating a broad range of mental health conditions, including crisis intervention and medication management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous post-license experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team in an outpatient or inpatient setting/program under licensed supervision.
- Experience with crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy, and medication management.
Salary Range:
$80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
