Job Opportunity

American Pump Repair & Service, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, commission, and troubleshoot electrical controls systems for the water and wastewater industries.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and systems, and assist Service Technicians and Project Managers with other aspects of service calls and projects.
  • Read wiring schematics and apply them to installations and troubleshooting.
  • Use electrical testing equipment to diagnose control and motor issues.
  • Install conduit, wire, and electrical enclosures.
Requirements
  • 3 years of industrial/municipal electrical experience preferred.
  • Clean driving and criminal records.
  • Ability to work well individually and with a small team.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to document work in an organized manner.
  • Self-motivated, punctual, and a problem solver.
