Salary Range: $142,080.00 - $213,000.00 per year
This role will focus on developing powertrain components and systems for product development teams across the Earthmoving division. You will collaborate with multi-discipline teams to define and develop electrified systems and lead electrification system trade-off analysis to recommend systems and components that maximize customer value and shareholder return.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to define and develop electrified systems
- Lead electrification system trade-off analysis
- Work with global engineering teams across different cultures and time zones to facilitate delivery of projects successfully
- Serve as technical point of contact for Caterpillar engineering teams
- Collaborate with the product groups to define and negotiate system requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural Engineering)
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a deep technical and functional understanding of machine systems and components, and the ability to author technical content in a clear and concise manner
- Previous work experience with powertrain component development or machine system development in two or more of the following functional areas: Transmissions Systems, Lower powertrain, Powertrain Controls, Machine Controls, Performance Engineering, Electrification components, systems, or systems integration
