We are in search of a Senior/Lead Electrical Engineer to take on a pivotal role in providing technical direction and expertise.

This position encompasses delivering innovative solutions across a diverse array of electrical control and power systems. The projects undertaken will vary significantly, including new designs, system specifications, on-site assessments, troubleshooting, forensic analysis, and litigation assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Direction:
  • Offer expert advice on electrical engineering initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Serve as the primary technical consultant for control systems, power distribution, and electrical infrastructure projects.
  • Lead the design, development, and execution of electrical systems, including motors, drives, PLCs, and distributed control systems.
  • Review and oversee technical outputs, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project objectives.
  • Guide and mentor team members, sharing insights and expertise in electrical engineering.
  • Project Oversight:
  • Manage the complete project lifecycle, from initial client discussions and project definition to final execution.
  • Formulate and lead project teams, coordinating efforts to meet timelines and budget constraints.
  • Establish strong relationships with clients, understanding their requirements and delivering customized solutions.
  • Ensure projects are executed with efficiency, emphasizing quality, safety, and innovation.
  • Practice Advancement:
  • Contribute to the development and growth of the electrical engineering practice, including the recruitment and mentoring of junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to foster knowledge sharing and innovation within the organization.
  • Represent the organization in professional associations and at industry events, enhancing our standing as a leader in electrical engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in electrical engineering is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline; a master's degree is highly preferred.
  • Over 20 years of experience in relevant sectors such as energy, power generation, transportation, infrastructure, or industrial systems.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary, with approximately 30% travel anticipated for site evaluations and client interactions.

Compensation:

The base salary is provided. Overall compensation will be performance-based.
