Overview:

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing marketing initiatives, project management, and proposal development for electrical enhancement and multi-disciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage regularly with clients and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Develop comprehensive scopes of work, conceptual designs, and execution strategies.
  • Prepare detailed engineering cost assessments and project timelines.
  • Lead both project management and engineering functions effectively.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior team members.
  • Generate construction documentation for electrical systems in power generation facilities.
  • Establish equipment specifications and manage procurement processes.
  • Coordinate project designs and teams across various locations.
  • Deliver field engineering assistance during construction and commissioning phases.
  • Facilitate departmental initiatives and collaborative efforts across divisions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for client engagements and project oversight.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited program with completion of the FE exam.
  • A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering is required.
  • Experience in power generation or industrial facilities is preferred.
  • Proficiency in software such as SKM Power Tools, ETAP, SmartPlant, or equivalent is essential.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
  • Prior experience in consulting engineering is a plus.
  • PE certification is highly desirable.
