Under minimal supervision and in accordance with established protocols, the Senior Systems Analyst is tasked with the upkeep, support, and enhancement of the Workday Enterprise Application and related systems for Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC).

Essential knowledge and skills encompass an understanding of healthcare finance specific business processes, exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, advanced data analysis and interpretation, as well as business process evaluation.

The Senior Systems Analyst will recommend solutions aimed at resolving identified business challenges, educate users, manage timelines and expectations, ensure quality assurance, and mentor team members.


Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related fields, or equivalent professional experience.

Licensures/Certifications:
Preferred - Workday Pro Integration, Security, or Financial certifications.

Experience:
3-5 years of experience with Workday Finance applications in a healthcare environment is preferred. Experience in managing short- and medium-term projects related to troubleshooting and optimization. Previous leadership role in the implementation/support of a similar application/application suite.

Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders and team members
Capability to accurately gather information to understand and evaluate stakeholder needs and situations

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee and provide leadership for the resources supporting the troubleshooting efforts of the HR/Finance application
Serve as the primary contact to monitor and triage HR/Finance IT issues
Investigate inquiries using available information resources and redirect problems to the appropriate resource
Lead the effort in tracking issues and resolutions; identify situations requiring urgent attention
Stay updated with any supported system information, changes, and updates
Analyze and assess technical issues (Desktop, Network, Application, Other)
Understand and adhere to defined technical standards, security and data privacy standards, and best practices
Perform other duties as assigned.
