Manufacturing Operations Development Specialist

Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at our Lynnwood, WA location. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to develop knowledge about the business through exposure to a functional area (such as manufacturing, engineering, and lean principles).

Job Summary:
The successful candidate will assist employees with day-to-day job assignments, focus on developing skills necessary for success, and may be assigned to additional training or project work. The Company's internship program is intended to provide students from diverse backgrounds with the opportunity to practice business skills learned in school while gaining work experience.
Essential Functions:
Assist in creation of production cell layouts and workstation configurations.Assist in development of the lean manufacturing process for new products.Create standard work instructions.Perform quantitative analysis for capacity planning and cost comparison.Assist in coordination of documentation and materials required to support hardware deliveries.Minimum Qualifications:
Must be actively pursuing a bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in engineering, preferably Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering. Required skills include excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective interpersonal skills in a team environment, project-oriented mindset, and ability to multi-task. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft PowerPoint, is also essential.
Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $24.00 to $27.50 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
