Leidos is seeking an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Systems Specialist to join our team in Lynnwood, WA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the assembly, testing, and production of electro-mechanical devices used in maritime applications.

This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical and mechanical assembly, including wire harness fabrication, circuit board installation, and mechanical system assembly.

A high school diploma or equivalent and 5-7 years of related experience are required. The ability to obtain a Secret security clearance is also necessary.

In addition to strong technical skills, the successful candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and able to switch between tasks quickly.

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,250 - $99,875, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Assembly: Wire harness fabrication, circuit board installation, and inspection and test of electrical assemblies.
  • Mechanical Assembly: Assembly and test of mechanical systems, potting and encapsulation of connectors and electronics.
  • Lab and Equipment: Support the creation and implementation of work orders, test procedures, and safety procedures, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Prior experience with unmanned underwater vehicles and associated sensors, underwater cables/connectors, and control and monitor electronics.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
