We are seeking a skilled Hydraulics Engineer to join our team at EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC. As a key member of our environmental and civil engineering projects, you will lead the evaluation of hydrology and hydraulics, supporting a broad range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze drainage systems, including culverts and storm sewer systems, floodplains, reservoirs, and breaches.
  • Manage tasks involving field data collection, data analysis, modeling, and design drawings/specifications.
  • Integrate data using interfaces with ArcGIS and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Conduct complex hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analysis for watersheds, dams, levees, sediment capture structures, and river systems.
  • Oversee the production and preparation of scientific and engineering studies and reports.
  • Coordinate work with staff from multiple engineering and scientific disciplines.
  • Explore opportunities for personal growth and development in engineering design and project management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, water resource engineering, or a related field.
  • Engineer-In-Training certificate required, Professional Engineer license preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in environmental, civil, or water resources engineering.
  • Direct experience with Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) modeling software packages.
  • Strong organizational, public relations, verbal, and written skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
