Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking experienced Construction Site Managers specializing in commercial multi-family ground-up projects. The Construction Site Manager will oversee a segment of a construction project, focusing on its organization, planning, and scheduling to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and quality-compliant completion.

In collaboration with the Project/Lead Superintendent, and for designated work areas, your responsibilities will include:
  • Enhancing and executing site planning, logistics, and procedures for project execution.
  • Implementing survey and layout plans; verifying the work of team members.
  • Tracking and communicating the CPM progress schedule for assigned tasks, ensuring alignment with the overall project timeline.
  • Enforcing the comprehensive safety and security program as outlined in company policies and in compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
  • Coordinating and scheduling subcontractor activities.
  • Refining and executing the Shaw Quality Control program, which includes:
    • Conducting pre-phase meetings and inspections.
    • Coordinating third-party tests and inspections.
    • Maintaining a master deficiency log.
    • Documenting the program using company software.
  • Keeping an on-site record of documents, including drawings, specifications, submittals, and As-Built drawings.
  • Assisting with submittal reviews in coordination with the Project Manager/Project Engineer and Project Superintendent.
  • Supporting the RFI process in collaboration with the Project Manager/Project Engineer and Project Superintendent.
  • Implementing plans for:
    • Jobsite cleanliness.
    • Temporary heating and enclosures.
    • Temporary power and lighting.
    • Material storage and handling.
    • Vertical movement (ladders, stairs, lifts).
  • Collaborating with the Project Superintendent on Shaw self-performed work, including:
    • Labor and equipment planning, material inventory management, budget oversight, and code compliance.
  • Documenting project performance in coordination with the Project Superintendent.
  • Preparing daily reports that include:
    • Time cards, safety inspections, safety training records, safety photographs, schedule updates, QA/QC inspections, subcontractor meeting minutes, and owner notifications.
  • Coordinating activities with inspection agencies as required.
  • Managing labor relations on-site.
  • Facilitating conflict resolution.
  • Overseeing owner acceptance of completed work.
  • Assisting with project closeout procedures.
  • Performing additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred but not mandatory. A minimum of 4 years of experience in ground-up commercial/multi-family construction (such as hospitals, apartments, university dormitories, and hotels) is required. Proficiency in Procore and scheduling software like MS Project or P6 is highly desirable.

Compensation:
  • Pay Type: Salary
  • Pay Range: $75,000 to $115,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
