Job Overview

The Compliance and Regulatory Manager is a critical role at Jacobi Carbons Inc, responsible for ensuring the company's Quality Management System and ENHESA Program are implemented and continuously improved. This position is located in Columbus, Ohio, and reports directly to the Operations Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the ISO 9001 Quality Management System for Jacobi Carbons Inc.
  • Oversee the Osaka ENHESA program, ensuring compliance and corrective actions are taken.
  • Manage product certifications, such as NSF and WQA, and maintain a database for tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with Global Occupational Health and Safety Standards (OSHA) and manage environmental site permits.
  • Facilitate internal and third-party customer audits and assist with the classification and disposal of RCRA and non-RCRA material.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Manager on compliance-related matters.
  • Adhere to global and regional quality and safety regulation reporting requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of proven regulatory compliance management experience.
  • Experience managing ISO 9001 and familiarity with WQA and NSF.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and problem-solve independently.
  • Proficient in MS Office and NetSuite experience a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
