Job Title: Pharmacy Compliance Manager

Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy Operations, the Pharmacy Compliance Manager will serve as a liaison to pharmacy staff and provide broad oversight for regulatory and accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain subject matter knowledge and expertise surrounding changes to standards, rules, and regulations related to pharmacy services at the local, state, and national level.
  • Develop interpretations, timelines for compliance, and policy/procedural updates as they relate to changes in accreditation standards, rules, and regulations.
  • Provide oversight of the OSWMC drug diversion prevention team.
  • Participate and lead all aspects of the drug diversion prevention program including prevention, monitoring, investigation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders including but not limited to nursing, risk management, security, anesthesia, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college of pharmacy and 1-3 years of experience in hospital pharmacy or an equivalent combination of education and leadership experience.
  • Advanced degree (PharmD/MS) and residency preferred.
  • Experience in health-system or community-based drug diversion prevention is preferred.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Ohio.
