Job Title: Pharmacy Compliance Manager

Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy Operations, the Pharmacy Compliance Manager will serve as a liaison to pharmacy staff and provide broad oversight for regulatory and accreditation standards. This role requires maintaining subject matter knowledge and expertise surrounding changes to standards, rules, and regulations related to pharmacy services at the local, state, and national level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops interpretations, timelines for compliance, and policy/procedural updates as they relate to changes in accreditation standards, rules, and regulations.
  • Provides oversight of the OSWMC drug diversion prevention team.
  • Participates and leads all aspects of the drug diversion prevention program including prevention, monitoring, investigation, and reporting.
  • Collaborates with external stakeholders including nursing, risk management, security, anesthesia, etc.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college of pharmacy and 1-3 years of experience in hospital pharmacy or an equivalent combination of education and leadership experience.
  • Advanced degree (PharmD/MS) and residency preferred.
  • Experience in health-system or community-based drug diversion prevention is preferred.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Ohio.
