Job Description

The Finance Manager will report directly to the VP of Finance and play a critical role in supporting various areas of the company as it continues to grow. A successful candidate will be able to provide high-quality management of data, analyze trends, make recommendations, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize investments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the planning, forecasting, and reporting for the company's operating expense budget and headcount.
  • Forecast and report on the company's capital budget and depreciation forecast.
  • Support various aspects of the earnings process, including peer analysis, management presentations, and trend analysis.
  • Identify and implement automation and efficiency activities across finance processes.
  • Collaborate with the Director of FP&A to perform revenue analysis, including average selling price analysis, shipment and backlog to forecast analysis.
  • Support product line analysis and various strategic initiatives as defined by the VP of Finance.
  • Support the monthly close process, analyze monthly results, and provide variance explanations.
  • Cross-train in the operational functions of the Corporate FP&A manager.

Requirements:

  • Six to ten years of demonstrated responsibility and knowledge of the planning and forecasting function in a high-technology company.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, processes, model building, accounting, and reporting.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with business partners and peers at all levels of the organization.
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and to take direction quickly and effectively from management.
  • Strong systems and Excel skills with an aptitude for learning new systems and software.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field is required.
  • MBA or CPA is preferred.

Location: Kirkland, WA

MPS offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health care coverage, dental and vision, 401(K), Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), up to 11 company-paid holidays, and 15-20 days of paid time off depending on tenure, generous discretionary company bonuses, and life and disability protection. Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in Washington is $125,000-$140,000.
