Make a Difference in Patient Care

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Wellpath. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the delivery of excellent clinical services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with RNs and healthcare staff to ensure the delivery of quality patient care
  • Gather patient history, verify medications, and make appropriate referrals for follow-up
  • Assist healthcare practitioners as assigned and prioritize infection control techniques and principles
  • Maintain working areas, supplies, and equipment, and attend mandatory staff meetings/training
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Successful completion of an accredited CMA course
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred
  • Currently certified as a Medical Assistant in the State (if certification is required by the State or the facility)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification (if required)
