Hospice Director of Operations

Gentiva Hospice is seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Executive Director to lead our team in providing exceptional care to patients and their families. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hospice location, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and oversight to our interdisciplinary team, ensuring the effective coordination of patient care and services.
- Patient Care: Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Staff Supervision and Development: Supervise and develop a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Operational Management: Oversee the management of our hospice location, including budgeting, resource allocation, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Education: Registered Nurse with a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing, Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum one year management/supervisory experience, two or more years' experience in hospice/home care required.
- Licenses and Certifications: Current license to practice nursing in the state of employment, CPR Certification, and valid driver's license.
