Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) to join our managed service team at IntegraONE. The vCIO will serve as a strategic advisor to our clients, helping align their IT strategy with business objectives. This role focuses on fostering client relationships, developing IT roadmaps, managing IT budgets, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional technology solutions that meet both current and future business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management - build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients as a strategic technology advisor. Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to discuss technology performance, review service delivery, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Technology Strategy and Planning - develop and maintain long-term IT strategies and technology roadmaps that align with the client's business objectives. Assess clients' existing infrastructure and identify areas for improvement, recommending solutions that increase efficiency, security, and scalability.
  • IT Budgeting & Cost Management - assist clients in developing and managing IT budgets, ensuring alignments with strategic goals. Identify cost-savings opportunities in IT operations while ensuring the infrastructure supports future needs.
  • Project Oversight - collaborate with project management teams to ensure that IT projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to strategic goals. Oversee implementation of IT solutions, ensuring smooth transitions and ongoing support.
  • Security & Compliance Oversight - provide guidance on cybersecurity best practices, ensuring clients have appropriate policies and technologies in place to protect their data. Help clients maintain compliance with industry regulations (e.g., HIPPA, PCI-DSS) and manage risk through business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
  • Internal Collaboration and Reporting - Work closely with internal teams, including engineers, service delivery and sales, to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous improvement of client experience. Provide regular reports to clients and management on IT performance metrics, project statuses, and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) is desired.
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Strong integrity and accountability
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, network design, and enterprise software solutions.
  • Familiarity with managed service offerings and platforms like ConnectWise, Autotask or similar.
  • Strong business acumen - ability to understand client business needs and align IT strategies to support those goals.
  • Certifications - ITIL or industry specific certifications) optional but preferred).
