Role Summary:

The Psychiatric Residency Coordinator serves as a key intermediary among the Program Director, Associate Program Directors, Residents, and various stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the effective onboarding process for new residents.
  • Oversee program compliance with Graduate Medical Education (GME) policies and standards.
  • Gather and maintain essential data to meet the requirements set forth by the hospital and relevant accrediting bodies.
  • Stay informed about updates in accreditation standards to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Provide administrative support for Clinical Competency Committees and Program Evaluation Committees, along with other program-related functions.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
  • At least one year of experience in Graduate Medical Education is preferred.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking abilities and the capacity to independently research and resolve issues.
  • Proficient in managing multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
