ServiceNow Senior Systems Administrator – Hybrid Role

As a ServiceNow Senior Systems Administrator at Armanino, you'll play a critical role in supporting our ServiceNow platform, ensuring its optimal performance, and driving business value through advanced administration, upgrades, and technical support escalations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the ServiceNow platform, including advanced administration, upgrades, platform operations, application development, maintenance, and technical support escalations.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop solutions and resolve support issues, ensuring seamless day-to-day support and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Adhere to existing platform governance processes for support and maintenance, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Plan, implement, and test version and upgrades with assistance from other platform team members, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Continuously review ServiceNow modules, access, and performance to ensure system integrity and stability are at optimal levels.
  • Provide recommendations on software integrations and usage to ensure the ServiceNow platform remains current and aligned with business needs.
  • Develop clear and concise technical and process documentation, ensuring knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Maintain technical knowledge on current and future ServiceNow features and functionality to drive platform expansion and adoption.
  • Create and configure Notifications, UI pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, and other advanced features in ServiceNow.
  • Provide training to various stakeholders to aid in the adoption of the platform and reduction of incident and requests.
  • Develop and use advanced scripting skills when necessary, adhering to best practices.
  • Implement and maintain integrations using Web Services, JDBC, middleware, and other technologies.
  • Collaborate as part of an Agile team to develop and deploy high-quality solutions with the ServiceNow platform.
  • Test, document, and deploy solutions that meet business needs and industry best practices.
  • Create advanced reports and dashboards as needed, providing insights and visibility into platform performance.
  • Update Workspace configurations to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in technology, business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or administration of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience with ServiceNow components, including Service Catalog, ITSM, CSM, Asset Management, Release Management, CMDB, Knowledge, and Self-service Portal.
  • Experience in client-facing roles with requirements gathering, developing, and implementing information technology solutions and initiatives.
  • ServiceNow System Administrator certification is required.
  • Expertise with technical ServiceNow components, including business rules, client scripts, UI policies, actions, UI pages, and macros, script includes, catalog items, workflows, web services, reports, and other advanced features.
  • Proficiency with SQL Query, HTML, XML, JavaScript, Jelly, jQuery, Bootstrap, and Angular JS.
  • Experience and understanding of best practices with the ServiceNow Platform, Production Operations, Change Control, and Security.
  • Experience in creating and managing technical documentation.
  • Experience in a high-growth environment collaborating with innovative cross-functional teams and problem-solvers.
  • Ability to work independently and engage in teamwork.
  • Onsite in any Armanino office location 2-3 times per week is required.

Preferred:

  • ServiceNow Implementer Certifications, such as ITSM, SPM, or CSM.
  • ITIL certification.
