Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Amsurg Corp.

Job Summary:

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for circulating in the Operating Room, working cooperatively with staff and physicians, and performing a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Circulate in the Operating Room and assist with surgical procedures
  • Work collaboratively with staff and physicians to ensure smooth operation of the OR
  • Perform tasks such as preparing patients for surgery, maintaining asepsis, and managing anesthesia
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license to practice as a registered nurse
  • Basic cardiac life support, ACLS, and PALS certification
  • Strong background in ophthalmology, otolaryngology, and dental operating room experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
