Job Title: Registered Nurse OR Level II

Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Operating Room.

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse OR Level II, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to a group of patients assigned to your care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures
  • Monitor and report patient vital signs and any changes in their condition
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and new technologies
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse
  • Two years of experience in acute care, preferably in the operating room
  • Previous clinical nursing experience in med/surg, telemetry, or ICU
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • AHA ACLS certification within 60 days of hire
  • AHA PALS certification within 60 days of hire
  • AHA NRP certification within 60 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Experience working in a level II operating room
