Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with fire modeling and dynamic egress modeling
  • Develop structural fire calculations and fire safety strategies for special hazards
  • Contribute to the development of prescriptive and performance-based design strategies
  • Provide consulting services for life safety, building, and fire code compliance
  • Assist senior engineers in reviewing drawings for conformance with agreed strategies
  • Develop fire alarm, detection, and fire suppression systems design documents
  • Perform smoke control analysis
  • Participate in internal team meetings and external client meetings
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering
  • Professional demeanor and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Skills in planning and organizing, with an attitude of taking initiative and enthusiasm for learning
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored work authorization
