  • Assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Provide mentoring, monitoring, coaching, and contribute to the evaluation of team members' performance.
  • Serve as a positive role model for team members by working with them to promote efficiency, quality, teamwork, and cooperation.
  • Assist with coordinating services, prioritizing assignments and workflow, and promoting situational decision-making/problem solving.
  • Perform all responsibilities of primary role. Take responsibility for, or provide guidance to team members on the handling of simple or complex issues.

Requirements:

  • Credentials: Essential - Basic Life Support, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant.
  • Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED.
  • Required Licensure/Certification: Certified or registered as a Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
  • Minimum Experience: 1 year of healthcare experience.
