Work Schedule: Sunday 9 AM - 2 PM, Monday-Tuesday 2 PM - 10 PM, Wednesday-Thursday 10 AM - 6 PM
Compensation: $21.00 per hour
Primary Objective:
The individual in this role will support the Residential Services Manager in administrative duties while providing direct care assistance to residents. It is essential to ensure adherence to all regulations set forth by relevant governing bodies and policies established by the CCARC Board of Directors. The candidate will stay informed about trends and best practices related to services for individuals with disabilities, promoting their optimal quality of life across physical, emotional, and mental health domains.
General Responsibilities:
This position involves assisting the Residential Services Manager in overseeing and managing the Community Residence Program, which includes individuals, staff, facilities, and all pertinent information. The individual will ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and policies established by the CCARC Board of Directors. Staying updated on trends and information regarding services for individuals with disabilities is crucial, with the aim of maximizing each individual's potential.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or a High School diploma/GED with one year of relevant experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, etc.).
- A valid driver's license is required.
Additional Requirements:
All candidates must be able to obtain or already possess DDS Med. Certification. Participation in mandatory training sessions is required for all new and existing employees.
Physical Expectations:
- Individuals in this role must maintain the physical and emotional health necessary for the effective completion of job responsibilities.
- This position may involve lifting and transferring activities and could require restraining residents/program participants; candidates may face risks associated with potentially aggressive behavior from residents.
