Job Overview:
Regional Women's Health Group is seeking a dedicated Patient Service Representative to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming environment for our patients and supporting our medical staff. The position is structured for a full-time commitment, operating Monday through Friday, with a total of 35 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer telephone inquiries promptly and professionally, managing messages received through the answering service.
- Welcome patients and visitors, guiding them to the appropriate areas and assisting with their needs.
- Communicate financial obligations to patients and accurately collect copayments as necessary.
- Conduct registration tasks for both new and returning patients.
- Schedule patient appointments according to established guidelines and finalize the previous day's patient schedules.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols diligently.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
