Position: Behavioral Technician at KVC Health Systems
Location: Residential Treatment Center
Compensation: $16-$18.50 per hour based on experience and qualifications
Sign-On Incentive: $1500.00
Available Shifts: Evening (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) or Overnight (10:00 PM - 8:30 AM)
Role Summary:As a Behavioral Technician, you will be responsible for addressing the physical and emotional requirements of clients within your assigned area, ensuring a nurturing and constructive group living environment. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to clients, making this position an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the mental health and social services sectors.
Key Responsibilities:Addressing Client Needs:
- Providing nutritious meals and snacks
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene and care
- Monitoring and administering medication
- Intervening effectively during crisis situations
Promoting a Positive Living Environment:
- Creating a supportive and encouraging atmosphere
- Managing conflicts and enforcing community guidelines
- Participating in treatment team meetings and contributing to client care
- Implementing and providing feedback on treatment plans
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class E driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong focus on customer service
- Excellent time management skills
- Effective oral and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email applications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, physical examination, and background check
