About the Role

The Cottage Life Supervisor is a critical member of our team at KVC Missouri, responsible for ensuring the safe and therapeutic implementation of our treatment model in their assigned cottage. This role requires a unique blend of leadership, clinical expertise, and operational acumen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance, support, and oversight to Youth Care Specialists (YCS) and transportation staff, ensuring they have the resources and training needed to deliver high-quality care.
  • Milieu Management: Ensure the cottage environment is safe, therapeutic, and aligned with KVC's treatment model, standards, and expectations.
  • Client Care: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring clients receive the necessary resources and support.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, staff performance, and cottage operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Equivalent combination of years of college education and direct care experience within a behavioral population.
  • Experience: Proven track record of leadership and supervision in a residential or therapeutic setting.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Relevant certifications or licenses, such as CPR/First Aid, may be required.
