Job Description

eTek IT Services, Inc. is seeking a seasoned SAP Project Manager to lead our team in delivering successful SAP-related projects.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in SAP environments, and strong understanding of SAP modules such as SAP MM, SD, or FI. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable. The successful candidate will drive project planning, execution, and closure, while maintaining a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead SAP implementation and upgrade projects from inception to completion.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budget constraints.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
  • Manage project budget and resource allocation to optimize efficiency.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings and provide status reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies.
  • Compile and maintain documentation for project processes and decisions.
  • Conduct project reviews and post-implementation assessments.
  • Assist in training team members on SAP applications and systems.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate deliverables for outsourced components.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among project staff.
  • Provide conflict resolution and problem-solving support throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in SAP environments.
  • Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SAP SD, or SAP FI).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing tasks.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
  • Proficiency in budgeting and financial management for projects.
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to travel as required for project execution.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • A proactive attitude with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
