Job Summary

The eTek IT Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead the execution of SAP-related projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with our strategic objectives.

About the Role

This is a W2 contractor position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a fast-paced environment. You will be working closely with various stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and external vendors, to ensure that project requirements are well-defined and met.

Main Responsibilities

* Lead SAP implementation and upgrade projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery of project goals and objectives* Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and external vendors* Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budget constraints, to ensure effective project execution* Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members* Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and deliverables* Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them, ensuring project continuity and success* Manage project budget and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and minimize costs* Facilitate regular project meetings and provide status reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability* Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies, maintaining high standards of quality and excellence* Compile and maintain documentation for project processes and decisions, ensuring easy reference and knowledge sharing* Conduct project reviews and post-implementation assessments, identifying areas for improvement and growth* Assist in training team members on SAP applications and systems, enhancing their skills and expertise* Manage vendor relationships and coordinate deliverables for outsourced components, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery* Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among project staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment* Provide conflict resolution and problem-solving support throughout the project lifecycle, addressing issues promptly and effectively* Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in SAP environments
* Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SAP SD, or SAP FI)
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable
* Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies
* Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA)
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing tasks, ensuring seamless execution and delivery* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive attitude and focus on results and continuous improvement* Experience working in a collaborative team environment, with demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and direct teams* Proficiency in budgeting and financial management for projects, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality* The estimated salary for this role is between $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
