Job Summary

We're seeking an exceptional Regulatory Compliance Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our organization's compliance with domestic and international laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement compliance programs to ensure organizational compliance with laws and regulations
  • Advise on applicable healthcare regulations and ensure Calm's products align with global consumer protection rules
  • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, security, people, and operations teams to develop and implement privacy-by-design principles
  • Identify applicable laws and regulations, assess compliance vulnerability and risk, and provide actionable advice
  • Assist in the review and assessment of new products, features, and uses of data to assess compliance with laws, regulations, and industry best practices
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of related experience
  • At least 5 years of experience as an attorney advising on regulatory compliance in areas such as product and corporate compliance, privacy, healthcare, consumer protection, and employment
