Position Overview

Join our mission-driven team at Meridian Health Services, where we are dedicated to enhancing access to Whole-Person Healthcare for underserved communities. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Support Staff Technician to provide essential administrative support at our facility.

Compensation: Starting at $15 per hour or more

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate effective communication with center staff, clients, and the public, ensuring a professional and customer-centric atmosphere.
  • Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments for healthcare providers, and handle messages appropriately.
  • Process patient co-pays and perform general cashier duties during registration.
  • Retrieve and organize medical records from external providers, maintaining compliance with information release protocols.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Preferred: Two years of experience in a secretarial or office role.
  • Strongly preferred: Previous experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Proficient in computer usage for data entry and communication tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to confidentiality.
