Position Overview:

The Business Analyst for Product Control will contribute to Orchestrade's expansion by ensuring the excellence of our products, developing and implementing comprehensive test cases that encompass the full functionality of our system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures to verify that software adheres to established standards.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing upon resolution of bugs.
  • Identify and document any discrepancies or inconsistencies relative to expected outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ascertain system requirements and validate proposed solutions.
  • Perform revalidations to confirm that functionality operates correctly on client code.
  • Implement testing processes for both new and existing features to meet client specifications. Execute all test cases, report defects, and categorize each defect by severity and priority.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of test cases.
  • Work alongside the QA Manager to guarantee that all tickets are delivered without defects and meet expected results.
  • Maintain consistent delivery outcomes and ticket management procedures.
  • Assist in validations and revalidations to facilitate timely delivery of hotfixes.
  • Proactively seek to learn various areas and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on targeted functionalities.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong data extraction, analytical, and logical problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient communication and business acumen are essential.
  • Fluency in both English and French is required.
  • Preferred knowledge of mathematics, finance, and financial calculations.
  • Self-driven and capable of collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • A willingness to explore new concepts and a desire to learn.

Educational Background and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field.
  • Experience in Testing or Object-Oriented Programming, with a preference for C#/C/C++, though familiarity with other programming languages is also beneficial.
  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience in finance is advantageous.
  • Understanding of application functionality and testing modules.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while working at a desk with computer monitors.

Standard office setting.
