Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at PrognomIQ. As a key member of our Finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial operations by providing accurate financial data, preparing reports, and processing payroll.

Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly payroll with accuracy, ensuring a thorough understanding of payroll taxes and R&D tax credits.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and offboarding, ensuring a seamless transition for our employees.
  • Manage 401K accounts and oversee the accounts payable process, collaborating with the purchasing and procurement team to streamline the procure-to-pay process.
  • Identify internal control weaknesses and improve processes to ensure efficient financial operations.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, preparing journal entries and accruals to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Lead the annual external audit and prepare monthly financial reports, contributing to the analysis and insights.
  • Provide backup support for the controller and AP as needed, handling ad hoc projects and tasks assigned by the controller.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required, with experience using NetSuite system being a significant plus.
  • Must be detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Superior Excel skills are essential, with the ability to effectively work closely with staff and cross-functional peers.
