Job Title: Network Operations Center Specialist

At GCS Technologies, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Network Operations Center Specialist to join our Support Operations division. As a key member of our NOC team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technical systems and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a point of contact for all types of service requests, providing timely and effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in coordination of the support teams to maximize utilization and improve communication, ensuring seamless collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Monitor alert systems and take appropriate action to prevent and resolve technical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • Work with support technicians and management to provide excellent service, continuously developing technical skills and knowledge to enable progression to a technical support role.
  • Provide feedback on opportunities to improve process and workflow efficiency, contributing to the ongoing improvement of our support operations.

Requirements:

  • Professional and effective written and oral communication, as well as excellent interpersonal skills, including telephony skills, active listening, and customer-care.
  • Basic computer, operating system, and application knowledge, with a basic understanding of networking technologies and components, such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services, with the ability to organize and prioritize work and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving, team-based environment, with a willingness to participate in after-hours rotation and meet additional requirements as needed.
