Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Services Department Manager to join our team. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supervising the housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff at a single site. You will lead teams to complete light housekeeper, heavy housekeeper, and laundry aide duties on varying shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff
  • Lead teams to complete light housekeeper, heavy housekeeper, and laundry aide duties on varying shifts
  • Train and develop staff to ensure quality control and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Coordinate and ensure the satisfactory and timely completion of project and program work
  • Maintain income and expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment records
  • Act as liaison between building occupants or administrators and HCSG staff
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Two years' experience in Environmental Services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision desired
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
  • Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies, as required by State, Local, and/or Customers
