POSITION SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Conduct reconciliations and analyses of various transactions related to cash, bank accounts, and loan activities. Extract and analyze loan data from iSeries and Oracle systems. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in general ledger entries and loan account analyses associated with assigned accounting reports. Liaise with investors and trustees regarding inquiries related to reporting and cash distributions. Identify and implement process enhancements. Develop and maintain comprehensive management reports. Demonstrate a high level of judgment and discretion in all tasks. Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required, with a preference for Accounting. Proficient in advanced Excel, with strong analytical and query skills, along with relevant accounting experience. Experience in Investor Reporting is advantageous but not mandatory. Familiarity with iSeries, Oracle, Sequel Viewpoint, or Sequel Management Studio, including advanced functionalities, is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant applications. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information effectively. Capable of accurately gathering facts, analyzing issues, evaluating alternatives, and making sound decisions. Ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting responsibilities. Excellent attention to detail and organizational capabilities. Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a significant portion of the workday. Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity equipment. Engage in frequent communication via phone, ensuring accurate information exchange. Ability to assess account statuses and determine appropriate actions. Work in a controlled indoor office environment.
